In 2019, JEI Ventures took on this office redevelopment project. The challenge was to transform an empty, outdated 1960’s office building into a 21st century modern, aesthetically pleasing environment. This required a complete overhaul of the building’s interior and exterior. The transformation needed to happen quickly to meet the spring market, and it needed to look and feel like a brand new property.
Keep the economics in check with acquiring the property at a price that will allow a construction budget to completely renovate the building.
Refurbish everything both inside & out. Create a striking building façade with rich materials and a cutting-edge design. Flood the 2nd floor with natural light and expose the bar joists. Utilize glass walls wherever possible to bring in more light and create a modern collaborative environment. Install a state-of-the-art technology infrastructure and shared amenities, including shared conference rooms, kitchenette and flex open space for meetings and additional workspace.
